I’m Mason Kiland, an architecture student from Fargo, North Dakota. I'm currently in my fourth year of the five-year master’s program at North Dakota State University, where I'm also pursuing a minor in art. My approach to design is shaped by both academic study and hands-on experience, with a focus on creating solutions that are thoughtful, efficient, and centered on people and the communities they engage with.

While in Anchorage, Alaska, I interned at GHD Architects, where I contributed to conceptual design, drafting, and material selection, collaborating closely with the design team. Beyond architecture, I have strengthened my organizational and problem-solving skills through project management roles in telecommunications construction and real estate. Outside of academics and work, I stay engaged through leadership roles in student organizations and by cultivating creative outlets such as art, music, and time outdoors. These diverse experiences shape and inspire my approach to design, enabling me to balance creativity with efficiency and collaboration in every project.
