Pella Retail Store
For this Pella Windows design competition, I set out to create a retail store that was both practical and visually distinctive. I examined their existing stores and analyzed their product line to inform the layout, materials, and overall flow. The goal was to design a space that functioned efficiently for day-to-day operations while also providing an engaging experience for customers, all while reflecting Pella’s commitment to quality and craftsmanship.
This project showed me how much research and observation can shape architectural design. By studying Pella’s products and store layouts, I was able to make deliberate choices in circulation, materials, and overall layout that improved both efficiency and the customer experience. The competition also helped me learn how to balance a brand’s identity with practical design solutions, and reinforced how attention to detail can transform a space beyond its basic function.
